Left candidate Srijan Bhattacharya launched an attack on Trinamool while campaigning in Ward No. 32 of Rajpur Sonarpur Municipality. Bhattacharya highlighted the potential crossover of politicians between BJP and Trinamool, stating, "the film will become clear after watching Arjun Singh, Mukul Roy, Rajiv Banerjee, Sabyasachi, Babul Supriya. Anyone from BJP can join Trinamool at any time. Then Sayani Ghosh can also join BJP." He further criticized the political landscape, stating, "warehouse is one, but the showrooms are two different ones."
